Mission

  • Assist in planning, establishing, and managing field trials (testing corn hybrids for yield, disease resistance, and adaptability) to support breeding and research programs.
  • Conduct accurate sowing, data collection, crop management, and harvest operations.
  • Ensure the quality and reliability of trial data.
  • Operate and maintain agricultural machinery and trial-specific equipment.
  • Work closely with breeders, agronomists, and technical teams to meet project objectives.
  • Adhere to safety and compliance standards during all field operations

Profile

  • University degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, or a related field.
  • Passion for agriculture and plant research and desire to learn and grow professionally.
  • Practical experience in field trials is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Experience in operating agricultural machinery; a valid driving license is required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Fluent in both German and English (mandatory).
  • A readiness to lead and take on responsibility as needed.
